Denise Clayton-Leonard, is an artist with over 20 years experience.
Her artwork hangs in numerous private and public collections nationally and
internationally. She loves sharing her passion for creating art
through exhibitions, art classes, and presentations. Welcome to

Clayton-Leonard, the 2002 Public Corporations for the
Arts, Artist of the Year, is actively involved in integrating her artistic
talent with helping children in their healing process.
Over the
past five years, she has brought her passion and experience to the patients
at Miller Children's Hospital, where she leads workshops for not only the
general population of children, but for children with cancer, and teenagers
and children with HIV.
Ms. Clayton-Leonard has also managed
community art projects that promote art through after school programs,
festivals and fairs, and community art installations. Furthermore, she has consulted on the installation of a permanent exhibition of
original art work for Long Beach City College’s administrative facilities
and Miller Children's Hospital Outpatient Care Center.
Of the many programs on which Ms. Clayton-Leonard has been
involved her most satisfying projects have been the collaborative work with
the patients at Miller Children’s Hospital. Art is not just a creative
expression it is therapeutic and soothing to the soul.
